Cadbury’s Wispa

Television Advert Case Study

Cadbury chose BassToneSlap’s 24 strong performance band to record and perform for their 2009 TV ad ‘For the Love of Wispa’.  (Then, they rebooked us for their in-house premier)

The advert was conceptualised and delivered by Fallon and Exposure PR and was shot in a single day at the famous Alexandra Palace.

Having learned the piece in just 3 days we were ready to film!

This video is Cadbury’s personal thanks to us as part of their social media marketing campaign:

Following the success of the shoot Cadbury requested our performance for their in-house premier of the advert.  They opted for a 17-piece [drum band] to open the ceremony, performing the theme tune, then at the end we were set free with our own performance.

“When we filmed the advert for the re-launch of Cadbury’s Wispa we were at Alexandra Palace for about 17 hours, though it only seemed like a short afternoon. We drummed our hearts out warming up, recording the visual performance, then stepping into the mobile studio to record the audio. It was a fantastic day full of energy, a really exciting and creative day!”
